  1. @gottatri2 What I like on my pork chops is a honey mustard glaze done in the broiler. 2:1:1 Mustard:Honey:Oil Chops in the broiler for 8 minutes, glaze them for 2, flip, 8 minutes, glaze for 3… done. The fat gets all crsipy and delicious, glaze gets all caramelized. load it up and make a bunch.

    Thanks I will try it this weekend. I understand most marinades require oil to tenderize, sweets for the carmelizing effect and spices for flavor, but the ratio is where the fun lies.

    It’s not so much a marinade as a glaze you mop on during the broiling. might work as a marinade and a mop. There is acid in the vinegar in the mustard so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work as a marinade. heh
