Yay PR

Pulled 565×2. It’s a PR Deadlift set for me. Making some progress. I got like super hyped up. I edited the beginning of the video where I am weeping prior to the set.

Squat: 345x2x8
DE Bench: 215×3/Every 90 Sec/8 Sets
DB Curls: 25×12/30×12/35×12

Bench: 360x1x8/320x3x6
Press: 185x5x3
Dips: BWx10x3

Deadlift: 565×2/470x3x5
Shrugs: 470×10
Rows: 225x5x3
Pull-Ups/Chin-Ups: 3×7

  1. i love how amped up you get man lol. I saw your 600 dl and judging by the speed of those youd be good for 10 or 15 pounds more for a double. i guess im just a greedy lifter haha. I want all the gainz now.

    Slow and steady wins man. Better to progress slow than stall out. Yeah and I tend to go real amped up.

  4. Do you think you would change your amptitude (yeah that’s right) if you were at a globo gym surrounded by common folk? I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone lift with intensity like you where they are actually moving heavy weight.

    I think it would be great to have the camera pointed at everyone else in the gym while you lifted to see how they react.

    It depends on what I am doing that day. I would hope that I wouldn’t find myself in a globo gym. My attitude in the weight room is already uncommon and strange to most people. I’m sure they’d look at me like a dumbass.

  6. I also have the issue of tearing up whenever I psyche up. People have asked me, “Why are you crying?” after heavy squats. I’ve tried researching the phenomenon but haven’t found much (I found stories of people crying during yoga LOL). AC, do you know anything about why this happens? Thank you.

    At the lowest level of my understanding it is that your stress levels can peak and crying is an effort to reduce hormonal levels. I could be wrong in my understanding of this. Not sure about the yoga lol. I do it for the adrenaline dump.
