De-load week

Shawn engaged me in a conversation via texting Saturday night. He proceeded to ask “What’s Up?” I replied “Working. You?”. I never received a response.

Later that night I had help break up a fist fight. The other bouncer I work with got there first and had engaged the aggressor. I provided perimeter security to ensure his safety. I did this by shoving the fuck out of people into MORE people. This guarantees that people will fall over and likely be delayed while trying to get back up. Now, I only did this to the group of people that this faahhhgggguuuuttt was trying to fight. They were cool. They didn’t want to cause any trouble. There were many of them and I was trying to reduce the risk of a beat-down.

I look back to the other bouncer and he is on his feet and leaning all of his bodyweight into the kids throat. Almost like he was doing a push-up on this losers trachea. I inform him that he needs to let go. We carry the guy out like the goon he is. I have his legs and Brad has upper arms. As we punch through the dense crowd people are being knocked over and around. Drinks are being spilled. I couldn’t be happier. Seeing these bar-rat assholes who would NEVER move out of your way, even when asked nicely, get knocked back by two grown men holding some asshole. Don’t get me completely wrong. There are people that will kindly move. It’s not often.

We get outside to the front entrance. The patron had regained consciousness and with both hands he is statically holding both middle fingers up. I want to inflict pain on him. Brad and I pause for a minute. Look at each other. Without words we simultaneously let go. He flops to the ground.

I storm back into the bar ready for more. I here a voice from the crowd say “YEAH AC CANECCHIO!”. My head snaps to the area where the sound came from. I stop walking. Make eye contact. I don’t know who it is. I raise my arm and give him a thumbs up and a head nod. I’m back in the bar.

  1. Sounds like you enjoy your job man haha. How often do you get your blog readers coming up to you and introducing themselves? I mean does that happen?

    I met a couple of readers at the Arnolds. We met up for some dinner and drinks. That’s really the only time that’s happened. I guess the only time I’ve gotten the “Are you AC from 70’s Big” was from the head bouncer I work for right now. After I got hired he said “Wait is this AC? Like AC from 70’s Big???”. I’m just some dude who blogs man lol.

  2. Great story man! Highly alpha. My university has been having all these non-lifters running the “fitness center” and there is this new slimy ass Russian fucker who came up to me telling me that I couldn’t use chalk. I then told him that I was a competitive powerlifter and that chalk is an integral part of lifting. He asked what I could do instead of chalk, I thought for a moment and said I Would use slightly less chalk. I thanked him in a way that said “go fuck yourself” and resumed lifting. I hate how people who don’t lift/don’t exercise go into the “fitness industry.” What’s the point?? I’m passionate about this and some gordonfuck comes over and tells me what the “rules” are. It irks me. Go be an accountant and stop trying to ruin things for people.

    Gyms like that are typically run to please the higher ups and not the members. That’s how it was at Georgia Southern. Luckily, I found a better gym lol. Don’t let it bother you. There will always be assholes as long as the world turns.

  5. I love nothing more than watching a bouncer choke out someone and then take the douche outside and fling them out of the bar. It’s the best.

    I’ve been gone too long AC……how ya been? Going to Arnold’s this year?

    lol it’s fun to do. I’ll probably be going. Maybe not to compete, but to watch and help my bros.

    • Good to hear. Maybe we can meet up at the the jump rope championships if I end up going.

      We’ll be able to watch real champions show us how it’s done.
