These men were skinned alive!

Friday night at work was miserable. It was like a fucking high-school/college reunion. There were so many fahhhhhhgggauhhhhts out that night. People left and right kept saying “Yo AC WHATS UP!!!!!”. It was like I was in a god damn nightmare. All night I experienced the same scenario. The same conversation. Over. And Over.

My blood boils when people speak to me with a tone in their voice as if we are good friends. The bar closes. I have to stand at the door to make sure no one else comes in. This bar rat approaches the door. I reach my hand out to block the doorway. He attempts to walk through my arm. His attempt fails miserably. I look at him and say “We are closed”. He responds with “C’mon AC! You know me man! Let me back inside!” I feel toxic. I have to control myself from spilling my incredibly overflowing anger on him. The tone he said his reply in was that of a life-long friend. He is not my friend. He is a fucking dickless loser trying to gain sympathy from me. My nerves settle.

As I am mopping I shout “WELL I HOPE YOU LEAVE ENOUGH ROOM FOR MY FIST BECAUSE I’M GOING TO RAM IT INTO YOUR STOMACH AND BREAK YOUR GOD DAMN SPINE!”

Here is your weekly song. This one should be in your lifting playlist. I like A Day to Remember a lot. They aren’t too screamo. Similar to Slipknot (I’ll go fuck myself if that comparison is offensive) they have equal parts singing and screaming. Plus the constant heavy drums are fucking sweet. The chorus in this song gets me going.

  1. Yo A.C. that’s from one of my favorites, “The Running Man” vintage Arnold right there.

All we do during clean up is yell Arnold quotes. It’s such an awesome time
    –A.C.

  2. You probably should of went to the gym after work and pulled 600.

Might have worked if it wasn’t at 2:30 in the morning lol. I just bottle it all up and use it when I lift.
    –A.C.

  3. Where can we get the 70s big tanks at?

The order information is on the main blog site under apparel.

    –A.C.

  4. Never seen you doin front squats before, pretty cool. I just started doing them as well. Are you using clean grip or a cross grip? I can’t tell from the angle.

Clean grip homie. I like front squatting. It’s a nice change of pace.
    –A.C.

  5. Hey AC – here are a few of my lifting favorites, since you linked ADTR and I’ve got some similar stuff…

If you like A Day To Remember, you’ll probably like Unearth:

^The guitar and drums in that song is fucking sweet. Not so much on the vocals.

    Here’s my go-to deadlift song:

And finally, something heavier and fast (warning, wall of sound at some parts):

    Bonus: Amon Amarth – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0MSbUM_8nQ

Hope you find something you can rip iron apart with.

Solid on the drums and guitars. A tad too screamy for me though
    –A.C.

  6. Well at least you’re not angry.

I’ll most likely be in prison later in life
    –A.C.

  7. Yoooooo bro.

Squats looked good. On your front squat it looks like you take a wider stance than most? Or is that just the angle. I’ve been adding in some more front squats. Just curious.

    lol’ed at that story. 10/10.

Hey dude. I think it’s just the angle. I take my normal squat stance for front squats. Add them in. They’re sweet.
    –A.C.

  8. Hey good job on the tanks. Received mine in the mail today, solid work!

Awesome man. Glad you like it. Feedback is appreciated.
    –A.C.
