Squatting was real sweet on Tuesday. I was definitely still sore from my 3×5 on Friday. My left adductor had cramped on Sunday and I completely collapsed when it did. At least I train to be strong.

    Found you blog 2 or 3 months ago and then went back and read all of your posts from the beginning. I check the blog everyday now. I really enjoy seeing your progress but especially the funny stories and vids (you’re a beautiful dancer!). I was curious as to what your lifts were at the start of your LP (squat, bench, dead, press), how long you stayed on the LP for, and what your lifts were when you ended it.

    Honestly, I don’t remember what I started my LP at. I was only doing it for roughly 3-ish months. My squat was 450-460? Bench was 335. Deadlift was 500×5 I think. Finally I believe my Press was 230. Does that answer your query? Thanks for enjoying the blog. That’s a lot of posts to read btw. Hopefully it wasn’t too painful.

    • Thanks for getting back to me. Nah, wasn’t painful, really enjoy the blog. Were those your 1 rep maxes or were you doing those for reps? Either way thats awesome and I’m gonna use the TRX equipment at my gym to hit a 1RM for a neck workout tomorrow. Hopefully when the girl that works there finds my limp, lifeless body it will force them to get rid of that dangerous TRX equipment.

  4. Do you scrape your knees when lowering the weight in the deadlift? Might just be the camera angle, but it looks like the bar moves a little bit (outwards?) once it gets to your knees.

  5. You are quite an intense gentleman. Lately I’ve been having a tough time getting pumped up for heavy-ass lifts, but watching these clips of you screaming and storming up to the bar does seem to help.
